We adapt the curriculum and learning environment for pupils with SEN:

We use Durham County Planning Tools for mainstream schools

  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with speech, language and communication needs
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with physical disabilities
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with a hearing impairment
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with a visual impairment
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with Autism
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and Young People with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with anxiety/anxious/school refusal
  • SEN Planning Tool – Children and young people with learning difficulties

We provide a personalised curriculum for pupils with an EHC Plan or Support Plan where appropriate.

We provide personalised resources and make adaptations to the environment and to the timetable for those pupils who need it.
