Pupil Premium 2014 – 2015

The school was allocated £ 144,300 (provisionally) for the financial year 2014 – 15.

This money has been spent as follows:

1. 2 extra teachers – 1 in KS1 and 1 in KS2
2. 1:1 iPads for Y1 and Y2 pupils.
3. Dedicated teaching assistant in KS1
4. Training and resources for Literacy & Language
5. Place to Be service

Impact

At the end of KS2 in 2014, our Free School Meals pupils had reached higher standards than all pupils nationally in reading, writing and maths. They had also made more progress than all children nationally in reading, writing and maths.

The gap between our FSM children and non FSM children has closed by the end of KS2. We were awarded £1,000 from the DfE for successfully closing the gap for these children.
