We recognise Literacy, Numeracy, Science and ICT as being vital elements of the curriculum but we also understand the need for pupils to learn a wide variety of subjects.
All pupils study History, Geography, R.E, Design and Technology, P.E, Music, Art and P.S.H.E. Pupils in Key Stage 2 study French Language and Culture. This breadth is essential in developing all round students who are able to thrive in an ever changing world. The school has a sports block comprising sports hall, floodlit all-weather sports pitch, playing fields, showers and changing-facilities. All our pupils have the opportunity to take part in high quality after school sports, arts and academic activities. We have programmes running delivered by teachers, visiting coaches and the local School Sports Coordinators. The school has policy statements for each curriculum subject formulated by staff and governors.
If you have any questions about our curriculum or the work we do in school, please speak to your child’s class teacher or alternatively, contact our Head Teacher, Mrs Bell, who will be happy to help.
